What to Expect

We offer food support with compassion, dignity, and simplicity.

Please arrive between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday. Service is first come, first served — we recommend coming early to avoid long wait times.

No. You do not need an appointment or referral. All our services are available in person only, and everyone is welcome.

  • ID for each household member (e.g. health card, driver’s license, birth certificate)

  • Proof of address (if available)

  • Reusable bags to carry your food hamper

As part of our commitment to supporting those most in need, we may ask for a copy of your latest bank statements when you request a hamper. This helps us ensure fairness and reach as many people as possible.

You can access a monthly hamper once every calendar month. Special assistance may be available in emergencies — speak with a volunteer when you arrive.

Food Hamper
Our food hamper is a monthly grocery box that includes dry goods, dairy, and frozen items. Each household is eligible to receive one hamper per month.

Pantry Access
Our pantry is open Monday to Friday and offers ready-to-eat food along with a selection of perishables, including bakery, deli, dairy products, and more. Individuals and families are welcome to take what they can reasonably use to meet their daily needs—no registration required.

If we’re unable to meet your specific needs, St. Mark’s Food Bank can refer you to other trusted organizations in the community. We work closely with local partners who may offer housing support, mental health services, clothing, or additional food assistance.

Just ask one of our volunteers — we’re here to help however we can.

Pet food is available once a week. We don’t just cater for cats and dogs — we also have food for rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, lizards, and more. We sometimes have pet supplies available too, such as shampoo, wipes, and other essentials.
